Opportunity Unbound 

A cover, an opener, and an inner page for Dartmouth 3D magazine NO.14 Sep 2022 issue. The theme is Dartmouth's recent groundbreaking, need-blind admissions policy in financial aid that includes all students—national and international.

Cover

The cover depicts a student reaching toward a sky filled with soaring swallows, symbolizing hope, adventure, and freedom.

Opener

In the opener illustration, three students gaze at a tree of prosperity, setting the stage for a narrative that continues on the following page.

Inner Page

As I sketched for the inner page illustration, I sought to convey the concept of achieving equity while considering each individual's unique situation. The resulting illustration portrays figures holding fruits that appear to be the same size when perspective is disregarded, symbolizing equity. However, when viewed in perspective, the fruits vary in size according to the person holding them, representing the concept of need-based financial aid.
